PROVINCETOWN — Starting Friday, blue and red lights on the Pilgrim Monument will honor workers at the forefront of the coronavirus crisis.
“Our board of trustees and I really believe that it’s important for the monument to be a symbol for light and a beacon of hope, and to remember that there are other people around that are less fortunate,” K. David Weidner, executive director of the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum, said.
Those to be honored include first responders, health care workers, employees at essential businesses and others risking their lives during the coronavirus epidemic.
