Greetings from “On The Hill” where summer is in full swing. The campus is busy with visitors checking out PMPM for the first time and members swinging by for their morning climbs or afternoon lunch breaks. Plus, we’re hosting some fantastic private events up here ranging from birthday parties to weddings to galas.

What else is happening up here? We’re glad you asked. 

Painting On The Hill

Each Tuesday during the summer, local artist Tom Acone will lead Painting On The Hill (POTH) – a plein-air painting experience, right here on the scenic grounds of the Pilgrim Monument. 

Sessions run from 10:30 am until 2 pm and the cost is $139. All needed materials (easels, paints, brushes, etc) will be provided.

This is a fantastic time to unleash your inner artist while enjoying our serene setting and taking in the Cape Cod breeze.

As an added bonus, when you sign up for a POTH session, you can stick around and experience the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum for only $10.

Beats On The Hill

Ever wish you could hang out on our lawn, in the late afternoon, with some music? We’re making that a reality! Make plans to join us for “Beats On The Hill” from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday, July 25 and Thursday, August 8. This FREE co

mmunity event will feature DJ Emerson and a cash bar for cocktails, mocktails and kid-friendly beverages. Bring your friends and family and enjoy a fabulous afternoon! We’ll also have food from our friends at Perfect Picnic and ice cream from Lewis Brothers available for purchase. Come ready to dance or bring your lawn chairs and blankets to chill. Don’t miss out!

Lighting On The Hill

Finally, some even BIGGER NEWS: Due to popular demand, the “Annual Lighting On The Hill” is going back to Thanksgiving Eve. And this year, we’re bringing back the DJ and expanding the community-wide celebration. Additional details will be available in the fall, but we couldn’t wait to share the great news about this festive event returning to its original night. (If you’re curious as to why we moved the Lighting to November 11, please read this post)
