Annual Lighting of the Monument
| Share the Light in 2011
The Annual Lighting of the Pilgrim Monument, which celebrates the Pilgrims’ First Landing in the New World in Provincetown on November 11, 1620, is one of Cape Cod's most beautiful traditions and one that is supported by PMPM's members and friends. For a small donation, you can help support the traditional lighting of the Pilgrim Monument.
The official Lighting Ceremony will take place on November 23, 2011 from 5-7pm at the Pilgrim Monument & Provincetown Museum(PMPM).
The lights will illuminate the sky through January 6, 2012. The list of sponsors and their dedications will be displayed in the Provincetown Museum and on our website throughout the 2011/2012 season. We hope those who have donated to the Lighting in the past will continue to do so as members of the organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
