May 8 Mother’s Day! All moms get FREE admission today! Treat Mom to the best view on Cape Cod and a lovely gift from the museum shop at the PMPM to celebrate her special day.

 

May 14 Ragnar Relay Cape Cod– Over 6000 runners will cross the finish line at the PMPM in the Cape Cod event of this nationwide relay series that benefits local charities. For more info visit www.ragnarrelay.com

 

May 26 – Thursday evening –Special Event at PMPM –  A Feast of Wampanoag Culture from 5-7 pm featuring Wampanoag Cuisine & Dancers. Tickets are $20 per person for PMPM members; $25 per person for non-members. Children under the age of fourteen will be admitted free when accompanied by adult guests. Reservations only with credit card via phone until May 21st at 508-487-1310.  A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

 

May 28-30 Memorial Day Weekend. The Shallop Café re-opens just in time for a celebratory picnic on the grounds of the PMPM.

 

June

June 17124th Annual Meeting of the Cape Cod Pilgrim Memorial Association at the PMPM. 4 pm -Annual Member Meeting-(Members in good standing only)-then, from 5-7pm the Public is invited to join us for a Special Reception featuring Casey Sherman co-author of “The Finest Hours”-Mr. Sherman will read passages from his book, give us the behind the scenes story on the film and sign copies of “The Finest Hours” and his newest book “Boston Strong: A City’s Triumph Over Tragedy”. Refreshments will be served. Suggested Donation $5.

 

June 19 Father’s Day! Give Dad a day off from chores with a visit to the PMPM and climb the Monument for the best view on Cape Cod!

 

June 20-24 Townie Week at PMPM – Free Admission to all TOWNIES with Provincetown ID.

 

June 23-26Provincetown Portuguese Festival & Blessing of the Fleet– Enjoy the food and festivities downtown and a climb to the top to burn it all off. Obrigado!

 

July & August

July 4 – Celebrate Independence with a visit to the PMPM commemorating the Birthplace of Democracy.

July 6- August 31: Historic Walking Tours of Provincetown – 9:30 am- Every Wednesday in July and August enjoy a morning tour of the town presented by a PMPM guide starting from the Monument. Call 508-487-1310 for more details and reservations.

 

July 28 Family Equality Council’s Annual Clambake at the PMPM honoring donors in their Protector’s Circle. Visit www.familyequality.org for more info.

 

July 28 Special Reception and Live Theater Readings at PMPM to Celebrate our Special Exhibition – 6-7 pm – a Special Reception to celebrate the new exhibition “The Great Provincetown Summer – 1916”  -featuring light refreshments and a cash bar -followed by Theater Readings commemorating the 100th anniversary of Eugene O’Neill’s “Bound East for Cardiff”  in the PMPM East Gallery -7-9 pm-cash bar available. Both events are FREE and open to the public. Reduced rate ($8) parking available.

November 23 The Annual Lighting of the Pilgrim Monument. Celebrate with us from 5-7pm to “throw the switch” and commemorate the Pilgrims’ first Landing in America in November of 1620.
